While performing your patriotic duty, if you happen to cross paths with a Service Woman or Man, take a moment to thank them for their service, and protecting our rights and freedoms.
Polls open soon here. Have to wait for the Gman to get up. This should be fun. Hopefully his walker fits into the voting booth !! And if there is a line, we are butting in front of others.
Your cookies are so pretty : )! I am going to vote as soon as I drop Kaish off at school. I wish I saw more service men around our area because I do so greatly appreciate what they do for us! I am sad this year that I can't take Kaish with me to vote. He always has off from school on election day, but this year that got cancelled because of the strike.
I did the early voting last week so that I wouldn't have to worry about long lines today. Hopefully lots of people will vote. It will be interesting to see the outcome.
I did vote today and was in and out in 18 minutes! I made sure to give my army guy a sweet hug this morning and to tell him thanks again for what he's doing for us. Thanks to your family for what they do as well.
I voted before work. 30 minutes, start to finish!! Other polling places in Virginia have not been so fortunate. I have heard horror stories from friends and family today.

ReplyDeleteI voted two weeks ago as CO had early voting. We've always been a "red" state but may be a "blue" state this election. Stay tuned....
