FRIDAY MATINEE.....
....on Friday

It's that time again! Where did this week go? I decided to listen to my readers and see the movie highly recommended by my BFFIANM, Hollywood!

But when we got to the theatre, named after my BFFIANM, Hollywood,....I had second thoughts. For some reason there are two things in life I can't resist....

Sex and Donuts! OK, well, donuts, freshly made donuts like Dunkn' Donuts or Krispy Kremes. And did you know, there are no Krispy Kremes in Texas at all? Sure there is a Dunkn' Donuts 49 miles away, not exactly a convenient place to go for a morning vein clogging breakfast.

So, back to the movies..I was drawn by the story line, and the road trip, and big yellow size 22 shoes.

.........and the added excitement of an Amish Rave Party.

I was please with this movie. It had several laugh out loud moments, and not just by me. I was waiting for it to start dragging, but no, it was good til the end.

We had good seats....in the back row, because it's the only place I can use my camera without getting discovered no one can kick the back of our seats.

We give this movie a big thumbs up!

YES! YES! YES!

I don't know jack squat about any movies playing now, but I sure do recognize that diaper-wearing astronaut going incognito as a movie critic.

LOVE IT!!!!

Your attention to detail is exquisite. My favorite? The spectacles.

You're onto something here.

You are too funny. I love that you took the bear to the movies and I am sure that you did not BUY him a ticket either.
I have not heard of this movie, what sort of rock am I living under?
Sounds like one we would enjoy though. I love a good amish rave.
No krispy kremes in Texas? Now I remember why we left that state so quick!!!

Or maybe you sit in the back row so no sees you pull a teddy bear out of your bag and set it up with popcorn and a soda. :) I saw the trailer to this awhile back and it looks funny. Now I'll have to go. I'm going to see the Dutchess with some friends tomorrow. Have you seen that one?

I want to see that movie too. It's rated R, but I think it must be the language. It looks funny.

Pumpkin, I want to see Duchess! I keep putting it on the back burner. I did that with Queen, and missed it.
It seems there are either plenty of good movies at once or none. Let me know how you like Duchess.

Karen, yea a bit of language but not much. I think it's the scene with bare boobs that earned the R rating.

....WHAT?! First you tell us there's no Sees Candies and now no Krispy Kremes? Tell me your favorite kind and I will send you some :)

Thank you Marey, but donuts are something I can live without. It's just that when I saw the mascot in the donut costume it got me thinking....I never see donut shops. Then I googled Dunkin and Krispy K. to learn the awful truth...Texans aren't donut eaters.

So funny : ). We haven't been to a movie in the longest time, but I am pretty sure, if we do go, Kaishon would not really like this one : ). Gary would LOVE it : ). He loves donuts. A lot : ).

I can't believe you don't have Dunkin Donuts. We have them everywhere. EVERY. WHERE! Sadly... For me!

Ohmygawsh, you were SOOOO close. You are just teasing me now. haha My daughter saw Nick & Norah and loved it, however I am not wanting a 13 year review---'cuz, she is all like it was like really good cuz like you know it was'
You could bounce around in the theatre and sneak into a 2nd movie.

There's Shipleys Donut places in TX. I could care less about the donuts, but I miss (and sometimes crave) the kolaches.

I want to see the N&N movie. It's one of the few I've actually heard of that are out right now.

ACTUALLY!!!! This whole Texas donut rumor is not true. There are Krispy Kreme's all over Austin and atleast 3 donut places between my house and church (4 miles). I demand that you stop these false allegations! :)

Come back to Austin and have some donuts!

How come HSH isn't blogging anymore? Our life is sad and worthless without her wit and adventures. Hope everything is okay. Tell her we miss her!

Cortney, The closest Krispy Kremes is 49 miles away. I want a donut shop I can go to for fresh hot donuts before I'm totally awake. I live in a town of 150,000 people, we need our own KK.

HSH is probably up to her ears in chocolate..which is a good thing. That's just my guess.

The Duchess was good. A sad story, but good.
