You Take Me To ...FUNKY TOWN!

...or in the words of Bruno, discribing Warren's dancing the Hustle, "He knows how to funk."

Warren, my favorite, was fantastic doing the Hustle earning a score of 25.

Tonight I actually paid attention to about half of the stars and their dancing. OK, I missed Susan Lucci, but I didn't really miss her.

Cloris, dear Cloris.....ever the star, working her fan base! She spent some time at the famous Farmer's Market in LA schmoosing with her fans, soliciting votes. This is the same venue where I had brunch with my Los Angeles blogger friends, Jason, from The Jason Show, Pumpkin Delight, and my new BFF from down under, Hula Hank from Australia.

Then she hit the dance floor with Corky, doing The Salsa. Bruno excitedly proclaimed that "the girl can still turn a trick....well done."

When asked what motivated her to let loose, Cloris said Corky told her to role-play as a skanky ho! Cloris scored a perfect 21, 7-7-7.

Brook and Derek earned the highest score of 29 doing the jitter-bug, the favorite dance of
one of my readers....who probably has the energy and stamina to out do any of them. It was noted that Derek's hair was an official bird sanctuary.

Corky and Juliane (aka, I Love Lucy) scored a whopping 28, putting them in the running.

Tomorrow someone gets the boot. Who will it be?

**Someone, that would be me....brought it to my attention that I only posted one picture. Well, use your imagination for a change I confess that I accidently deleted all the good ones....yes, I did take some excellent ones.....dang camera!

I just love Cloris Leachman! I admit I did not catch any Dancing with the Stars when I was in the US, but in terms of TV shows and movies, she is generally the best part of any of the ones she is in!

"Cloris can still turn a trick" that may be an insult. :)
You are spoiling people now, they are demanding your watch tv and recap for them....
very funny.

I'm glad Cloris is still turning those tricks and I must say that I will be using that "hair looks like a bird sanctuary"line often, starting today. Hilarious.

Last night's DWTS was soooo good. I really enjoyed the jitterbug dances, but I have to admit, my favorite of the night was Warren Sap's hustle to Funkytown. That boy can dance!!!!! (plus, I love that song). My son has since declared that it is illegal in our house for an adult to dance within 30 feet of a kid!!!!

Every Monday I watch for at least 5 minutes so I will feel at least a tiny bit educated when you discuss it the next day : ). Oh yes I do : ). I love the I LOVE LUCY couple. So cool!

I don't watch DWTS, but I LOVE Cloris:)

I went to high school in a small papermill town. The funk from that place was toxic. When the song "Funky Town" came out, the kids in the surrounding counties thought it was hilarious, and that it was written about our town! They probably STILL call it that. Good times...

I'm liking the Pebbles & BamBam costume idea:)

It was adorable last night....Brooke is amazing, I can't believe she has 4 kids and the last one is jus a baby, what an amazing body!
Susan Lucci's dance was way off, and I think she just might be at least in the bottom 2.
Cloris is still there for the entertainment factor.
