KEEPING MY HANDS BUSY
That's right.......grandma J has been told over and over that she has too much time on her hands. Well, not anymore. Yesterday my neighbor and I went to what we refer to as the "next best thing to the big city", that would be Temple Tx. If we had gone to the real big city, it would have been Austin or Dallas. Ummmmm, friends in So CA, don't get jealous...Temple is like going to the Tyler Mall circa 1980.
I needed a good selection of fleece material, and she needed a good selection of yarn. I make "no sew" blankets for cancer kids, and she crochets the most prize winning money grabbing afghans in the world. She has even named some patterns.
Back to me....this is my blog, and these are the fleece combos for the blankets I will be making. Hopefully I will have them done before I leave for So. CA again. Tell me what you think.....
And if you are an Aggie, please be kind! I will be making a maroon and grey one too.

How incredibly generous and wonderful of you to do this.
Hey, if you have extra time on your hands, remember to add another 15 minutes of walking to your daily exercise routine. Keep upping it by five minutes every couple of days until you're at 30 minutes. It's super easy exercise and very good for you.
I went for 45 minutes during my lunch break today in the freezing cold. You can do it!

Just when I think I couldn't love you any more I come here and read this : ). I did know this about you from when Mary and Postcard Cindy had the fundraiser, but it warms my heart to be reminded : ).

PSSS I like the duck one best too. I like yellow ducks. The baby blue bear one is adorable also. Texas? Well, that one is nice too. It's simply too hard to pick!
