One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others

Can you tell which one?

Do you remember playing that game on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood? Do you remember the little song? Well, it's been on my mind a lot lately.

You see, there's this blogger who has some of the same things I have. Really, it's true. I mean, OK, maybe not exactly the same things...but basically the same things. by basically, I mean sort of the same.....almost.

Here, I'll show you what I mean.

We both have dogs that love to lounge on the couch...like real couch potatoes. Neither one of us has a problem exposing them to Internet doggy ridicule. JJ's really my grandson.

We both have clean windows....ummmmm the difference is, Grandma J couldn't get a teenager to do hers for any amount of money!

This blogger and I both have soldiers serving in the US Army! Soldier on men.

We also have the same love for Iguanas....right?

Then of course we both have gates. My gate is to let all the loons at the Compound in....hers is to keep all the loons out.

We both have new vacuums. Hers is the envy of most, including grandma j. Mine is lighter and a zillion dollars cheaper.

Just like a couple of twins, wouldn't you say?

I think I'd prefer the other blogger's gate and vacuum. JJ looks more cuddly though. All soldiers are heros in my book. Nice entry.

Twins for sure, and what is it with vacuums? I asked for one for 20 years and never got one. Two weeks ago I went out and got an El Cheapo on sale at Target and have never been more thrilled. Let me say this about that: I do not get thrilled by housework. But the bagless Eureka with the Super Wand What's It at Target is the bomb.

That is the extent of any admission to doing any sort of housework. I will never speak of vacuums again.

The similarities are scary.

CBW, mine is as cheap as they get. My big one was too heavy and for this apartment with it's cheap carpet, a cheap lightweight is my preference. A roomba would have been nice though lol

I remember that little game! Your "other" is not so easy to detect.

Twins for sure.

The similarities are frightening.

And, just an FYI, it was (still is) Sesame Street that has that song:

One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesnt belong....

I always knew we were kindred spirits.
You have such a great memory too, that I am LACKING, you must have got all the memory genes while in the womb. I got NUTTIN’….you amaze me.
Cocoa and Ozzie would love to play w/ JJ. Although Cocoa gets a bit crazy and might scare JJ, Ozzie would do great with him.
You iguana makes a lovely hat though…ours just hissed at us.
Love seeing our soldiers together…..Oh, Lord keep those boys safe!!!
Thanks for making my day!!!!
You are awesome.
Oh, and I loved that song too. I thought it was on the electric company, but then again I have that horrid memory…..

...one of these things is not like the other, one of these things is just not the same...that's the song I remember from Sesame Street and we sing it in K when I do my silly dance to keep the booger pickers' attention!

But seriously, you had me laughing at the gate...one keeps the loons in and one keeps the loons out...I have to share that one!
