A to Z Mondays

This Week Is The Letter U.....

For Umbrella

Isn't this the best looking umbrella in the whole state of Texas? Oh wait, it's French...

All I could think of is Suz, my Busy Bee friend in Florida

For the social butterfly Princess in your life....

If you miss being the class clown, or if you think you aren't getting enough attention, this may be for you ribbit!

Italians can make anything ultra delicate and feminine...

And this ruffled beauty is a Canadian model.

This is a bit odd....a square umbrella!

This one is my favorite....almost a paisley floral.

Remember this oldie but goodie clear bubble umbrella?

Now, wasn't that fun? See more U things at A to Z Monday, and why not join in?

The french umbrella is my favorite. My sister had a clear bubble umbrella with a yellow trim.

Please don't fall for the 'no rain' trick in Texas. Keep an umbrella somewhere handy, or you will be miserable in a downpour. We always forget.

My personal favorite was the frog umbrella. That is what I would carry around even today. The black square one reminded me of a bat... don't ask me why, it just did. The fancy ones remind me of the old days when a lady would use it to provide herself some shade to help cool her from the numerous layers of clothing she was wearing.

I had one of those clear ones! Growing up, my friend's mom had a clear one. She didn't get the whole "look through the plastic" thing, and she used to hold it up high above her head. My friend and I used to fall on the floor laughing..

My favorite is the frog one, only because I love frogs and am partial to green:)
I remember the clear bubble ones, they're a close second.

I loved the paisley print one. I wish I had one like it.

My umbrella is a Wal-mart one that they gave out free one year...I think we were having a drought!

Great U word! I remember those clear plastic umbrellas---they went nicely with the go-go boots!

I kinda like the square one because it always seems like I'm (or something hanging off of me like a purse or bag) is always getting a little wet.

However, I never actually have an umbrella when it is raining. They are in my car, house, classroom, etc... when I need them.

The square one makes sense because you can walk right next to a bunch of other people with square umbrellas and cover a lot of ground effectively.

I thought the ruffled one was ADORABLY cool! : ) I looked at this three times today and showed some of my co workers but couldn't comment because of the phone... I am sorry for leaving late comments. Thank you for putting up with me and my tardiness : ).

a great collection of umbrellas, but truthfully, I would only carry a few of them, the ones that are plain. I don't know why???
