IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!
Grandma J missed going to a matinee last week because she was on a blogging adventure in Mathews, Virginia. I'm sure you wish I'd shut the heck up tell you more about Blogfest, but it's time for Grandma J to settle down, and take care of business.
Once again Grandma J needs your help, because it's important that she sees a movie that you might want to see. Of course if you like violence, sci-fi, shoot-um ups, or blood sucking scary stuff, you are in the wrong place. Grandma J loves comedies, non-fiction, animals that don't die in the end, Pixar stuff, and raunchy sex if it's in a comedy forum without hummus.
Here are your two choices. I will go with the majority so don't be shy. Let me know before 10:30 CT tomorrow morning because Grandma J goes to the first showing to save fifty cents. That makes every eleventh movie free.
The Ugly truth is rated R, and it's funny and a bit raunchy.....
G-Force is action packed, which isn't usually Grandma J's forte, but it stars guinea pigs, so all bets are off!!
Keep in mind that Grandma J is bringing Phillip Johnny Bob to the movies. He is going through withdrawals because he hasn't seen a movie in weeks! Oh, and PJB wants you to know he likes "raunchy".

obviously "the ugly truth" for PJB's sake!!! xoxox
I say go raunchy!
Well, I like raunch myself every now and then, but I have never even seen a preview for that movie. And I have seen about a million previews for G force. Kaish and Naji are very excited for it. I am going to vote for that.
I would pick The Ugly Truth (um, Gerard Butler is yummy...in theory). Guinea pigs aren't really my thing.
Have fun!
Hooray! You are back! I was worried.
Jason said to go raunchy, but I am not sure if he meant the ugly truth or the guinea pigs?
I vote for the ugly truth
I'm going to vote for G-Force because the previews look funny and I haven't seen or heard anything about the other.
Welcome back PJB.
You can see raunch everyday on your own TV. How often do you get to see talking guinea pigs shoot things up?
katherine heigel is beautiful so go check her out!! but i like tracey morgan who voices one of the g-force gang!! how about seeing half of each? i guess then the question becomes which half do you see first... oh boy i am even more confused!!
The ugly truth has to be better than talking gerbils. Or are they mice or Guinea pigs or ferrets? either way, they are going to smell. :)
I want to see "Ugly Truth", and I don't even like comedies. Give me 'shoot 'em up' or political intrigue any day. As for the gerbils, they remind of mice, and I have enough problems with the real things already. I think they even talk among themselves.
Can't wait to hear your take on The Ugly Truth! Why don't you like hummus? Hummus is your friend.
Are you stepping on a rabbit or is that a slipper?
Go with the G-Pigs and see G-Force. It's in 3G.
Colin
You can't go wrong with raunchy.
p.s. Have you hired your agent yet? I've not even had my coffee and that "save fifty cents so that makes every eleventh movie free" comment just made me laugh. Loudly.
The Ugly Truth...definitely...I really want to see that one.
I wish I was there with you!!!
Is there even a choice when one features a guy with a red heart over his groinal-area???
Ugly truth.
Oh good thing you are an hour behind me, it's 10:41 here.
G Force .. love me some good animation!
Gerard Butler, need I say more?
I'm with Audrey. Who cares about the movie? Go see Gerard Butler!!!!
I think you should go with raunchy - I would be afraid to watch the guinea pig movie - one of them may get hurt!! - Lynne M
SHOOT! I wanted hummus...
I'm gonna have to go with the talking guinea pigs. They're not quite my favorite (talking monkeys), but I don't think that they're that much further down the food chain.
There is also, for some unbeknowst reason, a good deal of really good actors in this - I think I would go just to figure out why...
Ugly Truth.. LOL
And how about an update on Phillip Johnny Bob since his return to good ole Texas. Hope he has settled in just fine. LOL
Sue from the other side of Temple.. Across that bridge near the swim park. :)
Hummus...yummm!
Okay, now I'm hungry for hummus. And please don't make me read about rats with guns -- how much of Tom Cruise can one person take? ; )
