Grandma J's PSA
on a personal level

Many of you have already seen this slide show....but Grandma J is nothing if not repeditive and redundant.....in that order.

So, please humor me and take a minute on this long Labor Day Weekend to watch it. Then you can go back to all those fun things like laundry and yard work. Cuz seriously? Grandma J knows every kid in this video. Some are no longer with us, and some are still struggling, and of course, Andrew is her grandson.

Andrew is a survivor, and the handsome young man, halfway through the slide show (with Andrew on his lap) was diagnosed with his cancer the same day he got his Lacrosse scholarship to University of Siena.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, share the message

Kim's (Andrew's mom) message:

Dear Friends...Each of you has been a part of our "cancer" world...and some of you have children in the video that I have made. The video is my way of spreading the word, that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I thank God everyday for the miracles He has worked in Andrew's life.....I want that for every parent. Hoping that one day we have a cure. Please share this video and let's increase pediatric cancer awareness and research.
XOXO kim

I love that you are spreading the word Grandma J. I also love that you are repeditive and redundant. I love that Andrew is healthy now. The research is needed terribly!

I came here to get cheered up with some of your humor. Instead I got a reality check, and I needed that.

This is such a good post Grama. I actually never knew that gold signified childhood cancer. (I'm a C survivor myself so appreciate any info that goes out to the public!)

Praising God for answered prayers...thanks for posting this as it is a wonderful reminder that we all have so much to be thankful for...and yes, so much more needs to be done to recognize childhood cancer and all cancers in general.

Love you, Grandma J!!!

I can't stop crying now. I am so thankful that Andrew is healed. And I am so sad that there are so many other children out there suffering. It breaks my heart! Love this video so much.

Been wearing my gold ribbon to the office since Tuesday. For the 12th I have ordered special tee shirts for M and I. Just hope they arrive soon. I donated 10 for 10 celebrating Kendrie's BD. I won't ever stop!

Thanks,
