Yet Another PSA
.....with a side of beef jerky

Now, let's get serious here. Fall has fallen, and it's time to break out the flannel PJ's and put up the storm windows. It's also time to get your flu shot.

So, Grandma J is going to mosey on down to the doctor's office and have him check out her foul ball injury see about getting her shot .

Not the swine flu shot because she falls into the age bracket that doesn't need it. By age bracket she means she's too old for it, and under the new health guidelines, there's no sense wasting valuable resources on older Republicans patients.

Have you had your flu shot? Are you planning on getting it? Are you afraid of shots? Will you cry?

I've never gotten a flu shot.
and my husband did about 15 years ago at his place of work at the time~~they had to call 911. His heart stopped. So...I dunno.
But this swine flu is scaring me to death. A local high school here is closed this week and a recent death about 30 mile north of me; young 24 year old girl. :(

excuse me did you say that the older Republicans are not eligible for a flu shot? Humm well that is certainly a new way to make sure you get votes; hope your opponents die off. No, I didn't say that.

I have only got the flu shot one time. It was about 8 years ago and guess what? I got the flu. Very badly too.
So, I will skip this psa. :)

Got my flu shot already! Didn't cry, just sucked it up and took it like a WOMAN!
Now the boys are a completely different story. Zacharoni will be brave and take it, but the nurse will have to chase Ty around the room- he despises shots!

I hate needles, but after the past two weeks with getting over this crap...I am definitely going to hunt down the cheapest one I can.

Well, Grandma J, I haven't had mine, I never get one and I never get the flu. Now that I have cursed myself by putting this out there on the internet, we will have a countdown and see how long it will take for me to contract the flu. FUN, FUN, FUN!

I will cry when the bill comes in for 6 flu shots @ $25/shot. Then the Swine flu shot comes out...

Jason, as himself said...

I'm still of the belief that I haven't had a flu shot yet, and I get a mild flu/cold once a year, but it isn't a big deal, so I'll still be skipping the shot. I'm pretty healthy.

BUT, that being said, if there were a strep throat shot, I'd get it in a heartbeat.

I roll up my sleeve every year and get one. I'm also a regular blood donor so needles don't bother me.

I don't like shots, but I'm not afraid of them. I'd rather have a shot than go to the dentist. I don't know if I'll do it this year. I probably will if I can remember.

I will definitely get one for Kaish and I if I remember. Poor Gary is on his own since he works 7 days a week. Maybe the nurse at his job will have some. I will ask him.

I miss him when he works so much. He is very sad lately. Depressed about the schedule. It makes my heart sad.
