A to Z Monday
Brought to you by the letter H for Hen

Grandma J used to hang around her own grandma's hen house as a child, and she was petrified holding one..and cried when they pecked at her legs loved it when she got to hold and cradle a plump hen.  Oh the nightmares memories she could tell you!

But today, she wants to tell you about this Hen.

Grandma J was at her favorite yardage store last week, and along with buying her fleece for blankets, she always checks out the clearance section for treasures. This particular fabric store carries a plethora of home decor and even furniture....so there's always a ton of goodies back in the clearance corner.

That is where Grandma J found this hen. Nothing special about it except for the look it kept giving Grandma J...and the price. It was 90% off.

That should have been about fifty cents, right? Well not quite. The original price was $44.99. Ummm, no wonder no one bought her.

Grandma J kept looking at her, and couldn't help but think she might just end up as road kill if she didn't buy her. Besides she kept giving Grandma J that pitiful look.

So, meet Margaret....named after my own Grandma. Pray that Phillip Johnny Bob, a chicken nuggets lover, can accept her as is, and not a meal.

Check out all the other H words at A to Z Monday!

Mmm. Fried chicken.

Seriously, there has to be room in the menagerie for another character.

You need to pull a Bossy and stage these 3 (pjb, crusty and fried chicken) in a story. Let me know when you do so I can get some Depends, because it'll be good. And I'll be cackling.
