¿Qué? Fue ayer?

Just so you know, Grandma J didn't really forget what day yesterday was.   It's just that she only knows it's a special day if her phone tells her it is.   When you retire, and move to the middle of nowhere, you only have to keep track of the things you want to, like birthdays,  Christmas, and tax day.

So, let's just pretend that Grandma J partied like it was the 4th of July Cinco de Mayo, ole!

She explained to JJ that is wasn't Mexico's Independence Day, but the day Mexican soldiers beat the tar out of the French at Puebla, Mexico on May 5, 1862.

Of course this bit of news made JJ very happy because he's half Mexican Chuhuaha.

And of course his day care friend Sofia is French.....

So, now that we have that out of the way, Grandma J is going to see a matinee.   The review will follow, of course.

XOXO Grandma J

Seriously?? It's not Mexican Independence Day? I've got a lot of backtracking to do then.
