Ruby the Sassy Goat

A long, long time ago, on A to Z Mondays, I did a post on the Letter G all about Goats....and Ruby the Sassy Goat was one of the Goats I posted a picture of. Well, low and behold, I received an e-mail the other day from Ruby's mama.....

That was really nice of Jill and Ruby to take the time to email Grandma J, and I figured it would only be fitting for me to invite you all to visit their site and read the story about Jill's goat soap business. Grandma J can't wait to try some of her products.

and NO....Grandma J doesn't know Jill or Ruby personally, so this plug is just a friendly shout out for a small business with a great story and product.

Ruby is one patriotic goat.....and she has tons of other gifty items....not all of them are Confederate!

You have to check out the plethora of Ruby gear available at Sassy Goat Milk.

I Totally Care....

That's what Procter and Gamble wants me to tell you....

You see Grandma J is such a sucker using the new Total Care Tide. I was just getting used to the Mountain Breeze Tide, after dumping the Tide w.Febreze because it was better than the one with Downy.

I'm almost convinced that this is the Tide for me because it has seven signs that it's superior to any other Tide:

1. Cleans Thoroughly..the other 46 Tides didn’t?
2. Protects color…from the color bandit
3. Preserves shape….may I ask who’s?
4. Maintains finish….um for how long?
5. Enhances Softness….let the enhancing begin
6. Prevents Pills…or in my case spills
7. Fights stains…I love a good stain fight

In case this wasn't enough good Tidings, the good people who bring you Tide to clean your clothes, want to make sure your washing machine is clean too. So like, how does a washing machine get dirty? Yeah, you can mess up the outside, but the inside? Well, fear not, this is what you need.

Tide Washing Machine Cleaner! It does these three things to make your wahing machine nice and spiffy.

1. Fights odor-causing residues by going to the source of the odor.
2. Penetrates and lifts the residues
3. Freshens your washer, while leaving behind a crisp, clean scent.

You have to run a full cycle with hot water....is that green?
Does anyone use this stuff? Does anyone plan on trying it?

SILLY SUNDAY

I came across this vintage ad for Lifebuoy soap. I never knew B.O. was such an epidemic and the reason we went to war for low self esteem.

So I looked for more and found these!

In short, this is what Wikipedia had to say...

The term "B.O.", short for "body odor", was coined by Lifebuoy for an advertising campaign. The Lifebuoy radio ad, parodied by several Warner Brothers' Looney Tunes cartoons, used a foghorn-type sound to create the "B.O." sound.

Lifebuoy soap was notably used in the film
A Christmas Story after Ralphie used the "F---" word.

Enjoy your Sunday! I have some shopping to do, and then gear up for the season Finale of Big Brother 9. Will "Baller" win? Or will it be "Rye Bread".....the suspense is killing me!
