VINTAGE THINGIE THURSDAY

Today is Vintage Thingie Thursday! If you would like to participate, visit Confessions of an Apron Queen!

I will share with you my Noritake platter circa 1914.
The trade mark, Morimuras brothers Noritake wreath with M, hand painted, made in Japan. The infamous Rita gave this to me, knowing how much I loved nice collectables.

My cheap digital camera doesn't capture the delicate hand painted flowers with generous gold trim. You listening Santa?

We love Rita.
I am on the whole Christmas in July thing..I think Santa should bring you a new camera before your trip.

It's beautiful.

And hopefully Santa is listening to you, I'll bet he is. I hope he hears me, too, because I'm shouting it out at the top of my lungs: laptop with internet access anywhere I go.

We got our camera for less than $100...kodak ez share, and we really like it. Unfortunately, our dinosaur of a computer doesnt have the software to support the camera, so to get my pics online, I have to rely on my I.T. Guy, and, he's slow about this stuff.

HSH, Kodak EZ share comes in several models. I currently have a Vivitar ViviCarm 4100 4mp, but it's not sufficient.
Maybe you should observe your IT guy and get a tutorial.

Since I had to buy my own laptop, I'm still holding out for Santa on the camera

Beautiful plate! I hope Santa comes around here too with a nifty new digital camera (I's like one that fits in a pruse, is really excellent and comes in a silvery pink!)

You are really popular Grandma J. Don't forget the little people who were there when you started (well, have been here for several months anyway.)
