RIDING SHOTGUN

Now that I'm back in Texas, I've gone over to see my little guy JJ a zillion and a half couple of times. No one ever, I mean never ever, missed me as much as JJ.

You all know that I take him with me, cruising the hood, looking for bad guys. Bad guys disguised as birds, dogs, and cats.....we know who they are, and we chase them down. Recently another family member has taken a liking to going with us on our vigilante adventures.......

It's JJ's big sister! She's practicing her grown-up skills. Just in the hood....no cross traffic, multi-lane roads.

JJ doesn't sit on her lap when we make our rounds....he sits on my lap...always focused on the action in the hood.

I had stepped outside to check out the Central Texas sky, before the rain came.

Is this majestic or what?

And to think we don't even live in Mathews on the Chesapeake Bay....not even close. But if you want to see some really awesome skies, take a trip on over.

Aw,thank you, Grandma J.

I think your skies there are beautiful - great shots.

What's Mr. Bear gearing up for next? Maybe he'd like to join the neighborhood patrol next week and should don his law enforcement uniform....

Wow! Those pictures are beautiful. Did you get a new camera or just becoming a great photographer!?!?!

I had to vote more than once in your new poll. I'm a reality TV junkie - Survivor, Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars, Biggest Loser. I won't miss Survivor or Amazing Race. If I can't be home, I record them. I'd love to be on either one, but can't see being away from the family that long. What fun it would be, though!!!

I love your skies! So beautiful! I also love JJ and your grandaughter! How sweet are they? I am glad you are teaching her how to drive. That will be a special memory. My Dad taught me. I don't remember much except that I was REALLY bad at it an my whole family was afraid to drive with me. It is still not my favorite thing in the world to do, that's for darn sure. I think you should link this to the sight called Sky Watch Friday. You might make some new friends : ). I am going to go look up the address for you this instant!

I am so glad you are using your time to fight crime. that is great!
JJ is so cute, so is his big Sister. Good thing she is getting practice. they need LOTS of it before getting out on the big roads with all the crazies.
Love the Texas Skies.
have a great day!!!

Is it true that everything is bigger in Texas? Just askin'.

JJ's big sis is almost as cute as he is! Are you leaving indentions in the arm rests as Big Sis drives you around the 'Hood? FYI - They don't ever come out...my car will never be the same after riding shotgun with a teenager!!!

lol...I looked at the pics and thought I can barely drive w/my dogs on my lap and this girl must be a natural!

You must be a saint to your kids, I wish someone else would have taught my son to drive. Our lessons usually ended w/me screaming profanities and him crying.
