Just a quick update about my early Saturday morning rendezvous.
I got up early.....traveled to Hastings Book Store an hour before they opened. I wasn't the first one there, but I was second in line.

Then my son-in-law, 1st SGT. John showed up.
When the store opened we were privileged to meet Col. Oliver North, and have him sign his lasted book...
He signed it: To John, Soldier on....Oliver North
For me and my soldier, it was an honor to meet Col. North.

What an honor for you both. Is your SIL stationed near you? My cousin was at fort hood for a year before heading out to the middle east.
Give you SIL a big thank you from us!!!
Our military men/women are the true heros of this country.
Have mercy.
Grandma J. not only surrounds herself with good looking men on a daily basis, she has immediate access to CELEBRITY status men.
You go, girl!
And thanks to all the heroes. Thank you, thank you.
I love it! He is a true hero indeed. I will send this link to my Mommy because she loves Oliver North. I love you. : ).
Wow! A famous person! I like it when I meet famous people.

I never really noticed before, but John and Kris resemble each other...both very good looking, of course.
