WE INTERRUPT TODAY .....

Due to lack of chocolate technical difficulties beyond our control, and because I'm out of some stuff and the roads are icy, today's post has been delayed due to technical difficulties and the lack of ice on the roads.....

So, for your listening enjoyment amusement, here is a kitty who still holds on to the notion that squatters have rights.

Or, if you hold still, they will think you're an ornament.

Do you have a cat? does it have a fondness for your Christmas tree?

Four outdoor cats, one indoor cats, and minimal interest in the tree, particularly since the one rubbed up against a glass ornament and caused it to fall and break. Scared him half to death.

Get yourself some chocolate....does the compound have a Christmas party? That would be something to see/hear about.

Our cat does seem to hang out under the tree some. She will probably be more engrossed if we ever get the ornaments hung on the darn thing.

The dog won't let me have a cat.

This is SOOO cute. She was almost up there with the angel.
our cats just love to sleep under the tree. They think we can't see them there. They are dumb like that. :)

I thought for a moment that is was a stuffed animal and it turns out to be a realy kitty. That was great! Mine do not crawl up into the tree but my Maine Coon, who weighs 20 lbs, nestles right in the middle of the presents and takes his naps there.

Our cat prefers to lounge on the sofa while swatting branches. Although, last year I took a photo of her hiding under the tree. (I posted that one recently. Not sure when. Alzheimers.)

I wouldn't have made that kitty move because she is just so darn clever to stay VERY still!!!

I can't believe that cat is so content and still on those branches.
My cat turns into a samurai warrior around Christmas trees.

Yes we have 2 cats both of which act like the tree is made of catnip. what happens to this tree when the cat gets down? Think there is anything left? i really have no idea why it drives them so nuts. we also have a dog who thinks the fake apples are edible. We had to spray them with bitter apple to keep him from eating them up. Nothing but styrofoam and bright red dye, sure made it easy to see poops on the lawn.

I don't have a cat but I wish I did. I always loved kitties. They calm me. Purring is delightful to me. I would like for one to climb on our tree so it could tip over and Gary could realize how ridiculous he is being by NOT straightening it up.

Actually I might not like that because then I would have to pick up everything and redecorate. Forget it.

Do you like cats?

I don't have a cat now, but I had a couple of cats growing up. One of them liked to climb the tree and often pulled things off of it, or even the whole thing down. I have met some nice cats, but my cats have always been crazy and so independent that didn't want anything to do with people. I like the cats that are like dogs and just hang out with you, but I can't risk it...I'd rather have a dog. :) Are you able to have cats in the compound?

To those who wondered. No, I don't have a cat. I'm more of a dog person. One reason is alergies, the other is the bonding thing. Dogs are better companions I think. Cats do intrigue me...like this one in the tree.

Right now, I don't have a pet...I borrow JJ even though we can have them here at the compound.
