Happy Chinese New Year.....

The Year of The Ox

If you were born in any of these years, the Ox is your sign:

1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997

Check here to find your sign, and what other signs you are compatible with. Grandma J's sign is the Dog.....anyone surprised?

back to the business of the day, or the business of yesterday.

Week Three Results

After three weeks on the Blogger Butt Smackdown diet hosted by Big Hair Envy...I don't have good news. I confess to falling off the wagon, and wallowing in a pool of sinful sugary delights full of carbs, calories and vitamin B19.

Between birthdays, deployments, root beer barrels basketball games, and JJ, the temptations have been overwhelming. On top of all that....we welcomed a new neighbor.....

Yeah, The Colonel of all people made a grand entrance into town.
The good news is, I bought a bottle of gin decided to forge ahead and get back track with the Blogger Butt Smackdown diet.

I am in the year of the rooster. I am not sure how much of the description actually fits me, except the being right part!

Hang in there with your blogger butt smackdown! You can do it!

Ok...what's B19? And I can relate. To everything.

Bingo? Is that what B-19 refers to? I'm just guessing....

That Colonel Sanders is the devil in disguise. Does yours have a buffet? We have one about 20 minutes away in the next town over that is. A buffet. all you can eat.

The devil, I tell you, in disguise.

Everybody falls off the wagon now and then, don't worry about it. Now, let me get back to my pizza.

Sorry about the Colonel coming to see you....just say NO. IT worked for Nancy Reagan.
Better luck to you. ;)

I was born in the year of the Horse. I guess I would get along with Busy Bee Suz! I don't know what I'm all about in the huge world of Chinese New Year.

Don't feel bad. I have been eating the BHE menu and I have lost no weight. I go to the gym five days and week too. It's obviously the alcohol.

Year of the Horse here! Compatible with dogs and sheep....I think!

Crawl back up on that wagon, girl. Don't knock me out of the way though, I'm climbing up the left rear wheel......

Hmm, I'm an ox, and some of it was true and some was totally not true!

Good for you! Worrying about falling off the wagon wouldn't do you any good. It's ok to enjoy yourself every-so-often too!

Pig here! Oink!

We celebrated the New Year by making newspaper lanterns and cooking apple won tons in kindergarten today!

Ahhhh, the Colonel is my weakness too- mmm, mashed potatoes, COLESLAW, bisquits and extra crispy legs! I hate it when I ride my bike past the place...it's tempting!

Yeah, things aren't going so good at this house either. Kaish wanted chocolate chip cookies one night and it was all downhill from there...
