When Things Go Boom!

This morning I was listening to music, and cleaning the glass top tables in the living room. Yeah, because I like to stay busy, since I can't sit around and eat all day. Did I mention that I was on a diet?

Well, while I was staying busy.. I heard a terrible crash! Now, I don't have any animals or room mates so the first thing I thought of was some old fart from here at the compound crazy person was crawling through one of my windows. It had to be the kitchen or the bathroom, everything else is carpeted.

I look in the kitchen....nothing and no one....I run to the bathroom, and this is what I saw.....

Remember my cast iron scale that measures in stones? I had a picture on the window sill and I forgot to raise the blinds, and the breeze knocked this picture of my granddaughter off.

I loved this picture. She was only two months old, and was visiting from Anchorage Alaska. She loved the water...still does! It's been in my bathroom for 15 years.

I'll reframe it and be thankful the snapshot didn't get damaged. Just don't tell her, it's one of her favorites too.

Glad it didn't ruin the scale or the picture. Once you get it reframed it will be as good as new.

What a beauty.

I think it *was* some crazy fart from the compound. I blame the one next door, but nevermind if she's reading this....I meant to say yes, that pesky wind is really something else.

Grandma J, I have been meaning to give you my regards on your dieting success, but I wish you were not doing the Atkins Diet.

I know that you are the brightest little spark in the compound, but our brain's only source of food are the carbohydrates from the same fruits, vegetables and whole grains that Atkins bans!

PS Is that a big chocolate cake your granddaughter is holding in the second picture?

I hate when I hear odd noises. I usually just sit still and pretend it didn't happen because then the crazy person in my house can't come kill me! haha.
