How Bad Can It Be?

I'm talking about the economy. I waited until six this evening to go to Jack In The Box to get my free tacos. Of course, I printed out a coupon for my granddaughter too, so I had to go pick her up...cruising past Jack's on the way. I tried to see if there was a long line, but with the remnants of rush hour still hanging around...it was hard to tell.

When we circled around back to get in line...there was only one car in front of me!

We checked out the menu for additional items because it wasn't just about me and my free tacos.

We drove up to the window and supervised the process as our order was filled.
When I gave the cashier my coupons he said I was the only person to bring coupons for free tacos all day! Did you get your tacos? Was there a line?

Then we went home to enjoy. Some Mardi Gras celebration!

BIG Foot and I watied until he was hungry again after his free pancakes. He needed 2 tacos and a bacon sourdough Jack combo....we went at 8:45...just a few customers...and we both used our coups- they had a lot of coups redeemed today....mainly because the high school kids printed them off and handed them out to friends. I did get a picture of Jack to use as the screen saver on my cell phone :) Long live Jack!

"Tails appear fluffy when they move at the speed of lightning...." cracked me right on up.

I don't know why there wouldn't have been more people doing it other than maybe they didn't know about it or maybe they don't have internet access and printers? Or maybe they're just lazy. Who knows.

Anyway, glad you got yours. Even though it's only 6 a.m. here I am now craving them. It's going to be a long day at work.

You'd think there would have been more people to take advantage of a deal like that! I am really surprised at that.

What did your adorable puppy order?

No Jack in the box here in philly.
Years ago there was, used to love going there in the middle of the night after being out drinking. Was a sad day when they closed them all !!

We don't have any of those fun restaurants here. I have fast food envy.

Were they good? LOVE JJ's tail wagging in super sonic speed.

Apparently you need more readers to spread the word in situations like these. Did JJ get one too? DID HE have a coupon?
I love the pic of him....ready to jump out for a taco. :)

I would have been right there with you!
And JJ is just too cute for himself! That was worth the trip!

That's funny. I could make my roommate in college throw up just by talking about those Jack-in-the-box tacos. She would start gagging and I would go on and on about the grease oozing out of them. It was great!

I want free tacos! But there's no J Box here. :-(

In these tough economic times, YOU were the only person who took advantage of the free tacos? Tragic.

M, I love those Bacon Sourdough Jacks. I love the Sirloin burgers the most. Did you guys get that Jack commercial where someone asks Jack if their Sirloin Burger is better that "someone else's" Angus burger...and exactly what part of the cow is the Angus (then they roar laughing)?

CB, I knew you'd love the tail thing!

Janet, I love it when you ask me questions. It validates my whole reason for blogging.

The J stands for Janice.

The Js in JJ stand for Jordan Junior...which is the name given to him by his birth mom's owner. My daughter's family tried to change it, but he would only respond to JJ. He's that kind of guy.

I didn't realize Jack In The Box wasn't nationwide. It's bad enough that Texas doesn't have In N Out Burger and Carl's Jr., but if they even try taking Jack's away, the sky will fall...right Cortney?

Suz, JJ doesn't get people food..we bring him on food runs just to intimidate people. :)

I would have taken advantage of the free food but we have no Jack in the Box in this area. I can't believe though with one close no one used it.
