HELP ME OUT....

......because it's been a while since I've been to a matinee, and call me crazy, but tomorrow is the day for my Friday Matinee...a day early.

I'm torn, because I'm really into comedy's without the slapstick factor. I love romance without the added elements of spies and counter spies. I hate violence and super hero stuff like Spiderman and the Monster Mash, or Killer Tomatoes. And as far as sci-fi goes......bleh

Right now there are a few violent ones out there, like Last House On The Left, but the only thriller I'm willing to see when it comes out is The Haunting In Connecticut because it's based on a true story. So here are the two I'm considering that are playing here:

1. I Love You Man....A comedy about a guy who's getting married but doesn't have any male friends. He schedules man dates to find a good candidate to be his Best Man. Geesh, I could have handled this task for him.

2. Miss March.....A comedy about a man who comes out of a coma after four years to find out his girl friend is the Playboy centerfold for the month of March. He still has a girlfriend?

Not much of a choice, but you know how I am....majority rules.

Hold off till Friday for Aliens vs. Monsters or Monsters vs Aliens.... whatever it is! I am looking forward to vegging out in the theater without my kids to just NOT THINK for two hours!!! Ahh heaven!

However, given your choices, I would have to vote for I love you man, I'm sure it's a "no-brainer"

We have similar taste in movies, and I vote for I Love You Man.

Is this connecticut movie like Blair Witch??? or Amityville???

I've never heard of any of the movies you've mentioned, but I'd probably go for the first one about needing to find a man.

Or you could play spin the PHillip Johnny Bob and see where he lands.

IF I went to a movie today the first thing I'd do after eating a bucket of popcorn is sleep. For days.

My son and daughter loved "I love you Man".
I want to go see "Knowing" with Nicholas Cage. Love him.

I vote for I love you man. I heard it's pretty funny so you might at least get a chuckle from it and that's money well spent.

I love you Man!!! It really got good reviews, but that does not always mean everything..but it looks funny to me. I like all the actors in this. The other one looks wacky....
what time is the movie. I'll buy the popcorn.

Ooooh...I think Philly has the right idea w/ Nick Cage in "Knowing" - looks really suspenseful. But, if it's not suspense, I vote for I Love You Man.

Have a great time! I'll think of you while we're doing homework at the kitchen table this afternoon! :)
