WHAT THE.......?

Every once in a while something happens that baffles my mind. Of course the term, baffles my mind, is something that I say several times a day lately....because things do. You know what I mean, things like birds eating bugs off the chin of angus bulls, and little chihuahua mix dogs challenging fair colored bulls to 'bring it on"

Those things baffle my mind, and make me say, What the...? even though I know they are natural instincts, baffling to me, but normal in the animal kingdom.

Some things can't be explained, and if they can then I don't know where to find the answers.....let me give you an example..

This is a real live picture of my laptop. It has looked like this since the beginning of Kingdom Come. Yeah, way back then...minus all the smudges.

So today, I was multi-tasking.....printing letters and stuffing envelopes to various contacts with updated address information for my upcoming move. Of course I"m placing stuff on my keyboard as I work, and I heard little beeps and other noises, but you know, it's usually the space bar or something. Well, not this time. This time it was something that really baffled me, making me say, What the........?

How the heck did this happen? I called a few people...like Marcus at Time Warner, who told me to call Toshiba. I called Toshiba, and their voice prompts kept referring me to their website.

I finally took a few pictures....then, with the laptop upside down and using a mouse, restored my settings.

Now, does anyone know how I turned my image upside down in the first place?

My answer would have something to do with an earthquake or you hanging upside down from the ceiling, so I'm of no use.

However, I can't wait for you to get here in July so I can talk more about your laptop. I'm dying to get one (and may be dead before I can afford one) but would have no idea where to start.

Note to self: Steer clear of the ones which spontaneously turn upside down. You have enough problems with technology as it is.

Hilarious, as usual, Grandma J.

Apparently all the papers you were placing on the keyboard confused the heck out of your pc and it decided to go upside down all by itself. It was giving you a HINT HINT!!!
Only you could do this by the way. :)

When I have a computer problem I call Cheer Girl's Boyfriend and he comes and fixes it right away.

I don't know what I'd do if they broke up.....

I was thinking something along the lines of what NNG said!

Try CTR ALT then the UP arrow. Or the arrow in the direction you want to rotate your monitor image.

I could have made this up, but maybe not.

Ditto what Colin said. Your papers were messing with your head and adjusted your display setting. Quite funny though.

Cooper did that to my computer the other day. Somehow he randomly hit a combo of buttons that did that. I think Colin is right about the buttons. I googled it (with my computer upside down) and found the fix. Crazy! Sometimes mine randomly types word backwards. Like the next letter goes to the front of the word. It's odd.

I think the universe was trying to tell you something : ). What it was saying I have no idea, but WOW : ) that is so funny! And aren't you adorable in 10 X 12 size? I would like to have a copy of that to go above my desk. Oh wait, I don't have a desk : ).

...or you were at my birthday party? Lots of people were upside down...and I even did a few front rolls on the pool table....I think you were partying! Have some coffee and sober up :)

Why yes, of course it's what Collin said (I'm just faking it. I know nothing about computers)
Your picture almost looks like one of those optical illusion faces that turn into another face when you flip it upside down.

Wow! That is odd.

Ha, ha! That's funny. That happens a lot when the kids at school accidentally hit something. I call the computer guys and say, "Help!" Did you ever find out what did it?

Pumpkin, and others who were wondering, Colin was right! It's CTRL +ALT + the arrow key in the direction you want it rotate.
