(Almost) SILENT SUNDAY

Texas is under a severe drought.....and no one is allowed to water their lawns. People are encouraged to narc on their neighbors.

Despite the drought, Grandma J found this blossom outside her back door this Sunday morning.

It's attached to this weed.....

In the back courtyard that's supposed to have a lush green lawn. So someone who might have some extra rain clouds, please send them to Texas before Grandma J's grandsons arrive from Colorado! Being cooped up with two active boys + A-Ron for a week could have serious consequences.

On a lighter note.....Phillip Johnny Bob talked Grandma J into buy him some new clothes....something from Dollar Tree fashionable.

Some surfer threads. He wanted me to make sure and show his good friend, Little T that he doesn't always wear dorky clothes with his shirt tucked in.

Little T was being polite. You dress Phil like a sissy. I think those are girl clothes.

I would love to send you some rain...as soon as we have an excess of it too.
Not sure how I feel about PJB's new outfit.
I do hope you have a great time with the boys though!!!

How about I send you the thunderstorms and torrential rain we're having here this evening? I'll send it Express Mail, be on the look out.

PJB's new clothes are incredibly stylish, and as usual he looks handsome. HE also looks happy to be back with his Grandma J.

p.s. Your name tag is still stuck on the sign at the end of my road. It says Hello My name is Grandma J. I'm never taking it down. At least not until you come back.

I agree with Motel! He knows what he is talking about;)

That IS severe! No water, people tattling on each other, extreme heat=recipe for disaster!

We're in the middle of a drought, too, but nobody has been encouraged to narc on their neighbor. Yet.

Lookin' GOOD, PJB!! Get Grandma J to buy you a surfboard;)

We had quite the storm here a couple of nights ago. Unfortunately, it passed us by last night. Praying for YOUR rain to show up before The Spa falls into one of those huge cracks in the yard! GAH!

This drought is bad! My lawn is crispy and yellow. I'm definitely not paying to water the lawn in a rent house!
