A to Z Monday...
the edible edition

Brought to you this week by the letter K

OK, this really isn't a food...but a food supplement.

Grandma J is talking about Vitamin K.

And to make it officially a food post....

Kale is loaded with vitamin K.

And, so is Kohlrabi  Ok, so maybe it isn't loaded with Vitamin K, but it starts with the letter K.   Have you ever had Kohlrabi?

Please go check out all the other A to Z Monday  K foods hosted by Jen at Unglazed.

I am a bit confused. Have you started the alphabet over or am I just imagining deja vu all over again!

Kale. Interesting.
I was going to have if you have off for Spring break this week and then I remembered that you have off for every week : ).

Kaish and the neighbor kids stayed in the tent all night last night. Can you believe it? Me either. : ) I woke up at three all worried and I walked outside to check on them. 3 snoring boys.

Gary had off yesterday for Easter. Thank you Jesus! : )

And today as well. I am so happy he can rest. I love him.

Hi!
I don't like Kale and never tasted Kohlrabi before. I guess I need some Vitamin K. Have a great day!

Happy Monday Grandma J!

Kohlrabi? never heard of it. Now tell me the truth; have you ever even heard of this before doing this post? Ha!

Great K words! I mostly use Kale as a decoration when I make up a plate for a party. It's so pretty underneath cheese, etc.! I eat Kohlrabi in salad. It's crisp and juicy so gives salad a tasty texture. Happy A to Z to you GJ!

I have to admit I also have never had kale or kohlrabi so I would not get my vitiman k either. Easter is over so now I hope we get some sun. 6 inches of snow yester but it all melted today. I am ready for warm weather and vitamin K from the sun.

Are you saying that I need vitamin K?
I tried kale one time. It tasted like seaweed. :0

Not sure I've ever had kohlrabi. Wouldn't mind getting a bottle of your brand Vitamin K, either!

Kale is delicious when cooked properly (which is with old ham), but Kohlrabi is not a food, it's a store. I shop at Kohlrabi's and feel like I"ve walked away with such a bargain, especially during the 70% off sales.

Love Kale - never had Kohlrabi - how do you fix it??

I used to always have kale on had for our guinea pig. It's full of vitamin C, which g.p.s must have lots of.

Never had kohlrabi...sounds like a religious leader who shops at a discount department store ( yes, that joke was a real stretch. And not very good.)
