We Interrupt This Blog....

......at this gawd awful hour of

this would be a.m.

To bring you a royal affair.

The wedding of William and Catherine

Everyone is excited and wide awake

as I was saying.....

Unless they retreat to another room.

Will you be watching The Wedding, live?  Are you gonna DVD it and sleep in like a slacker?   Or, have you had your fill of all this nonsense?  Grandma J wants  to know.

I don't really watch a lot of TV anymore so I had no idea when it was on. For all I know it's over by now. I am slightly curious about it but haven't had time to focus on it.

JJ looks so comfortable.

I couldn't avoid it this morning. It was on every news station that I had, sadly.
Although there were some highlights for me. One, being her dress. Two, being her brother. Honestly, did you see him? m.

I always turn on the TV when I get up .. at 6 .. and this morning was no different except there was no morning news/weather but a lovely poised young woman was getting into a car on her way to her wedding so I sat and watched as Toonman had his morning IV antibiotic .. he said 'they had a few more people at their wedding then we did, huh'

I didn't get up until 6:00 this morning, but turned it on then. I don't think I missed much. They were just getting ready to go down the aisle when I started watching. I watched it for half an hour or so. It wouldn't have mattered to me if I had missed it, though. :)

Beautiful bride!
I missed all the hilites in real time, but the reruns were great too.

I could not be bothered with all this wedding stuff...really, it was kind of a repeat from OUR wedding.
Hey, wait, they had a reception at the Elks Lodge right???

Unfortunately..I saw most of it...because I couldn't stay asleep. So, I flipped it on when I noticed it was about the time she should be walking up the aisle. She was really lovely, I thought.
I "wouldn't be in her shoes for her stockings", though! That poor little bird will be in a gilded cage now!

I watched long enough to see her dress and the flowers, and the crazy hats of the guests!

Who're William and Kate and why are they getting married at 3 a.m. on TV?

It was on even earlier out here in CA, so I slept through it just like JJ. I watched the highlights on line after the cats made me get up at 6:30 this morning. They don't seem to understand quite yet what being retired means.
