What Champions Are Made Of

Just when you think you've had a rough week, someone else has a rougher one.

Like Grandma J's grandson Andrew.........

He loves to go to the beach and boogie board all day long, or until a humongous wave drops him on his face.   But real boarders just smile and get back on their board.

After a quick trip to his home away from home the ER to check out a nose that was a tad painful, a game at the big A was just what the doctor ordered.

With the bestest seats to watch the Angels stomp the Tigers.

xoxo Grandma J

Oh my goodness! OH MY GOODNESS! OUCH!

Hey, I tried to watch Big Brother tonight and I couldn't get into it. The milk game was grossing me out a little. So many of the people seemed creepy : (

Andrew looks like I did when I arrived in NC last week. My laptop bag fell on my face when I got it out of the overhead bin. Thank goodness I am all healed up now. Hope he does too.

Andrew is one special kid .. I can only imagine how much that hurt but he's tough .. hey he kicked cancer in the butt, no little run-in between face and boards gonna stop him. Tho I suspect his momma has a lot of silver hairs to show for it all ..

Ouch! Mother Nature sure got the best of him. I can already see that my 2 1/2 year old grandson is on his way to the rough and tumble life.

ONLY for Andrew would I say it's okay for the Tigers to lose.
