REMEMBER THIS?

I never saw the side of this Dallas Cowboy Pimp Mobile...until yesterday. I went whizzing by the Bingo hall, in the early afternoon, and lo and behold I almost lost it right there......because I really thought the hood and trunk were over the top.

I was wrong. This is the side. I could hardly believe my eyes.....and I had to go down the road a bit before I could hang a U. When I pulled in the parking lot, the owner started towards the door, so I only got this one shot. I mean the place doesn't open until 5 or 6 in the evening, and this was the only car there...right in front of the door.

And these roses on the windows! Nice touch!

Now, I'm off to take a certain someone to track practice, then to get her driver's permit. Say a prayer...for me that she passes!

Did Anyone Watch?

I won't be reviewing Dancing With The Stars this season...but I will be watching and commenting when I get the urge to be a totally catty bi*ch critique something newsworthy, or when someone makes an ass out of themselves. So, don't come hear looking for a full blown review, because you won't get one will be sadly disappointed.

Having said that....I was surprised to see former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Melissa Rycroft compete on DWTS instead of Nancy O'Dell. The Access Hollywood host backed out due to injury. Melissa did fine, and I think she'll be great on the show. take that Jason!

Steve Woszniak, co-founder of Apple, also appeared on DWTS tonight. I think he just might be our new "Cloris Leachman-ish" dancer. It was comical watching him try to be cool on the dance floor.....geek that he is. He said it was the most fun he has ever had, and he might need a drug test before next Monday. Huh? Well, he isn't totally geeky, I mean he's had four wives..which is a relief to know because it means not all women marry for money or drugs looks and sex.

There were other interesting dancers this year...like Little Kim, who, while probably a good rapper, practiced ballroom dancing during her stay in the Philadelphia Detention Center.

Another interesting guy this season is Ty Murray, a retired rodeo champion. He needs help...seriously, major help in the dancing department. If he could just pretend his partner, Chelsie Hightower was a bull, then.....hmmmm, let's see how he does next time. Incidentally, Ty's wife, singer, Jewel, is also competing this season.

Another tidbit is Julianne Hough's dancing partner is her real life boyfriend, Chuck Wicks.

So, readers
reader, are you watching Dancing With The Stars this season? Is anyone watching?

Ride 'Em Cowboy

I pulled into a parking space in the crowded parking lot at H.E.B on Saturday afternoon. It's one of the only two places I can get fresh meat in this town. The other place is Walmart and "fresh meat" at Walmart means packaged and shipped in from some meat packing plant south of Disneyworld along the Kissimmee River. Really, all I wanted was some ground beef for my taco salad....just the thought of having to go to either crazy zoos gave me heartburn. But someone was looking out for me and my thirst for blogging material...yes they were.

If you are a Dallas Cowboys fan then please seek help don't read this. I love you, and Rowdy the Dallas Cowboys' mascot, and don't want you to desert me, but I wonder about people who do this to their car.

Now, I understand having a favorite team. I've been in a huge football pool with about forty other peeps for years, and I love watching football all day on Sundays. I have my favorite teams, and I have some sweatshirts and hats....but doing this to your car is a bit over the top.

The woman who stepped out of the car happens to be someone I recognized. She works at the local bingo hall. When I say she "works" at the bingo hall, I mean it's a paying job here, not all volunteers like California. Luckily she didn't recognize me when she got out of her car, and I kept my head down because I wanted to take pictures. I could only get two because my phone started ringing, and the only camera I had on me was the one on my phone. BTW, the back of the car had even better stuff including the woman's name! The inside was decked out too.

I'm curious.....just what kind of radius would be safe driving this car? Say I put that crap on my car...how far would I get on my way to Denver next month? Have you ever met a Broncos fan?

How about when I drive from Texas to Virginia in July? I'll be passing through Tennessee and maybe I'll stray into Falcons, Panthers and Redskin turf. So, I guess if you stay in your own hood, you can get away with sporting your team all over your car.

Of course I have some pretty nutty friends like this one back in CA. Can you figure out who her favorite football team is? She actually travels to their opening home game every year....and she still loves me even though I make fun of her Steelers wallpaper and shower curtain. Yes I do...and yes she does.
