H Is For Hairy
And if you have a Hairy refrigerator magnet....all the better! And....you are probably asking yourself what the heck
Well if you really want to know, I bought this yesterday......
You put one of the
Then you buff the area in circular motions with slight pressure.... on your body part, not your kitchen counter.
This is the up close (click to enlarge)end result of Grandma J's
BARF ALERT! BARF ALERT!

So here is the final verdict...it works! There is a smaller applicator for Grandma J's mustache and other random whiskers small areas.
Has anyone else tried the Smooth Away?

Will there be close-up before and after pictures of your mustache on A to Z Mondays when the letter M rolls around?
Colin
Did it hurt?
I do want to know what you're smoking, because how in the world you came up with that first picture is beyond me. H is for HILARIOUS.
I've never seen nor heard of this thing, but if it is reasonably priced I'll be getting one, thanks for sharing. I have half a moustache and several wild, unruly hairs on my cheek and chin that I currently just shave.
It pains me greatly to be typing that last paragraph. Pardon me while I go cry now.
Woody, there is no pain involved...and it also exfoliates the dead skin off too.
CBW, it was $9.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond. I don't know where you get replacement pads (it comes with 5 of ea size) but I'll be looking for ultra fine sandpaper in a craft store.
You crack me up! Thanks for the laugh, and I don't think I'll go and spend the $ for one of these! I found an 'electric' razor, made especially for a 'woman's delicate hair' at Wal-mart. It is shaped like a pencil, and it works fine for the 'moustache' and the 'goat hairs'! However, my attitude is this, "If you don't like my unruly hairs, don't look at them!"
I've never seen that before. That looks a lot safer than a razor.
Yes Yes.....but does it work on nose hair?
lol
i love the warning of the barf alert. Too funny.
nice to know it works....I could use a shave. I get lazy during the winter and I try to grow my own coat. :)
Well, I am curious at to what time your 5 o'clock shadow appears and it it works on that.??
(Happy Monday-great post!:)
So you sanded your hair off? Cool! I'll look for the belt sander when I get home from work. We'll take care of these legs. No more waxing for me!
Im glad I didnt inherit your hairiness, and glad it didnt hurt, except, I think it hurt the hairy guy on the fridge!
I seriously want to know how it does on the mustache and the goat hairs? If it works well on those I'm buying the darn thing myself.
Wow! I'm glad you are okay. I hope it's not too abrasive...but then again, I could use some heavy grit on my heels at this time of year. Do they have one for that?
Thank you SO MUCH for your kind comments and your gift to St. Baldrick's in Katie's memory. She would be very impressed, I think...and her birthday is coming up on Sunday!
Yes, does it hurt? Where can you buy it?
What do you smoke and where can I buy that too?
I was curious about it but was way to afraid to try...thanks for clearing that up. By the way..DID IT HURT??? sure looks like it should have...i'm just sayin'
Wow- Haven't heard of this one! And it doesn't make your skin red and raw? I get red and chapped just going out in the wind..
...I could've used that thing years ago...not sure where all my hairs went...balding arms and legs? Perhaps on that hairy bear?! Thanks for the entertainment!
NO PAIN PEOPLE! Seriously, and I rubbed a bit harder than I should of, but no redness or pain, and I showered and put lotion on right afterwards. So far, so good.
Oh my goodness gracious! This looks PERFECT. Although I was concerned about your arm looking so painful until I gazed at your before picture. Whats a little pain going to do to you? Nothing : ). I have been shaving my arms since I graduated from college. My brother told me I had man arms one day during the summer after college graduation and I decided to shave them. I have been doing it ever since. No one will ever know that I have manly arms : ) Unless they read this comment. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That works wonders. I would be a little nervous to have all those little scratches on my upper lip though. Let me know how it turns out : ).
This is hilarious..I seen a commercial for that last night or the night before and thought to myself, 'I wonder if Gramma J is going to review this?.'
I'd like to know how long before the hair comes back.
ok did it hurt? Looks like it does skin damage. I just shave everything, arms, legs, pits, and pluck the chin. When I get old and decrepit that's all I want, help getting the shaving done. IT's an old wives tale to not shve your arms or chin, don't hurt nuttin!
Just so there's no confusion. I zoomed way in on my arm so you could see that the Smooth Away didn't leave any stubbles. I realize the picture shows just about every pore on all three inches of my arm, but my arm isn't the least bit irritated. I will take a few normal picutes of my arms and my mustache when I do it. I was skeptical of the results, but I am pleasantly surprised.
I cannot even think about my hair ass legs right now! I may tackle that job come spring!
I've been using a cheaper version - one piece folded over and glued so that you can use both sides-for about 20 years. Yes, I have had facial hair for that long! It's easier than waxing and quicker.
