WHEN YOUR AC GOES ON THE FRITZ......
....Mother Nature thumbs her nose

It's been brutally hot lately. No surprise really. Every October it gets like this, and people mumble about how unusual it is, and how the earth is heating up faster than Al Gore can write books. But it's true, no matter what's going on with the environment, Mother Nature has blessed Southern California with at least one heat wave every September and October. With two of my kids and two of my grandkids celebrating birthdays this month, it's been the same since 1963. Before that, maybe people froze there buns off. I can't really say...

But, this isn't a rant about the environment....nope, it's about the timing of the AC taking a dive....and getting a new one, that someone has to install, so someone else carted it up to the attic, but the other someone, who is the expert installer, has too many people demanding installation of new AC's.

That is why Grandma J drinks this much water in a day. I wish I could show you the number of fruit shushes and margaritas I polished off too.

Central Texas is starting to look really good to me.....did I just say that?

Go ahead and show us the number of margaritas...we won't mind one bit.

Not a good thing. A/C is a necessity. I sure hope you are recycling all those plastic bottles, if not, I would prefer you have margaritas.
When do you plan on going home? I am sure the compound is just bored to tears by now.

Sorry about the A/C - that really sucks! But my question is how many times did you have to get up to pee last night after all that water?!?

Come back home. It's nice and cool here (not really!)

Oh my gosh! Way to go drinking all that water. I need to drink it more. I always feel guilty about the water bottles though... I'm so glad you are having a fun time, even though it is desperately hot!

That is only 7 things of water...don't you need 8?!?! When my kids were sick I used to tell them their goal was to 'pee a lot' as I gave them tons of liquid. I love you are goal oriented :)

The plastic in those water bottles is toxic. You will definitely want to stick with margaritas.

CBW, I would gladly show you the margarita glasses buy I got busted leaving the restaurant.

suz, yes the bottles were recycled, not by me because I'm still on vacation...but I stack them on the counter and my son's FIL drives over in his red fire truck and collects them AFTER he mows the lawn.

Woody, I didn't get up to pee once all night! Why, you might ask? I sweated like a pig, which is the Mother Nature's way of letting me sleep through the night..except the three fans blowing on me didn't do much to help.

Hollywood...how hot is it in New Mexico? There are eight bottles in that picture...it's tricky, and I was just testing you, but check it again..

Rebeckah, I am having a great time, and I used to never drink water but the stuff in some brands of bottled water taste pretty good, and..

Big Hair, all those toxins in the plastic give me a new "high".

Cortney, I miss TX, and as soon as I get back I will miss So CA. In and Out....should be a regular, daily diet.

Yes! I want to see the empty tequila bottles!

Last night my sisters came over and we polished a few bottles off ourselves!

Jason, as himself said...

Maybe it's all the margaritas that are making you so thirsty!!!

And what's a fruit shush? :)

Yeah for all the tequila lovers....and leave it to a teacher to call me out on fruit shushes!! :))
