IN THE SPIRIT OF THE SEASON

It's been a busy weekend, and I spent most of Sunday watching football and enjoying some down time. When evening rolled around someone wanted to go to Target.....

.....yeh, Philip Johnny Bob asked me to take him to Target in the cool of the evening...on a Sunday. He had a point, it wasn't going to be crowded, and we could cruise over and take JJ for the ride.

I relented, and we were off.

JJ waited in the car....securing it and the surrounding area , keeping all the bad guys away.

I have some good news for you......Phil landed a job. It's seasonal, and the pay isn't great.

He's one of Santa's elves!! I'm so proud of him!

Please tell Phil to tell Santa that I want a laptop with wireless internet, plus an all expenses paid trip to The Compound so Grandma J. can teach me how to do it and share some blogging tips.

Also? Look at Phil's nose and eyes and then look at JJ's. Are they related because they look alike.

So great that he got a seasonal job. I hope he helps you out with all the bills and such.
That JJ is a ferocious beast. I would stay away from your car too. ;)

Im just happy to see you didnt take JJ inside. I was in Kohls yesterday (new pillows as part of our de-licing makeower)....and someone had a dog. I think I will add a new feature to my (neglected) blog - Dog Watch! I can report about all of the dogs I see in supermarkets and restaurants.

Phillip Johnny Bob is going to be an elf? THAT IS SO EXCITING : ). That bear is just tons of fun, isn't he?

Can't JJ go into Target? I would think that he could. I have been seeing pets all over the place lately. The dollar store, Home Depot and even the library today. And no, they were not seeing eye dogs.

Oh, and Jen said that would be lovely to give Quince the gift card because of Mila's win : ). I asked Mila if she wanted the gift card and she giggled and said "you know what I want Aunt Becky. A toy. Can we go to the bouncy place." She has a short attention span. I love her.

I told Quince that you live in Texas and you are praying for him this weekend. I have been sad all day because he seemed so discouraged yesterday. It breaks my heart. I think I am going to make him a map and put stars on all the places where people are praying. Do you think that would be cool : )?
