Tuesday's News

The news no one else will tell you....because tonight it's all about Ohio.

Leroy and Forrest Raffel opened the first Arby’s in Boardman, Ohio on July 23, 1964. Since that's the year Grandma J was born graduated from high school, she is a huge fan of Arby's....and because of that and other random facts, she wants you to have this coupon. yes, it's real....click and print.

It's for the new "Hey, Where's My Burger, Dude" sandwich. Ok, so it's not called that, but for those of you who love add-ons, this just might be your sandwich burger!

Grandma J had one her way....."ummm, I would like it dry, without the mustard and catsup...and can you leave the cheese, lettuce and tomato off? Also, can I have a packet of Arby's Sauce? Thank you".

So really, that translates into Grandma J having her Arby's Roast Beef sandwich just like she always has and always will.

So let's head on down the road a few miles.....all the way across the state of Ohio if you will.....

To put it in the words of my Grandmother, The City Council of Medina, Ohio is full of beans. Maybe they should have had an Arby's? I wonder....could it be those kids? How about the fat man on the left? What do you think?

So, what's new in your world?

I knew you would find this on the internet. It's all over the place, even on Drudge.

That was hilarious...surely someone was just doing that in the background, couldnt have been real...but funny anyways.

Not unlike your morning, "wake up" routine....It was like an alarm each day, "MOM'S UP!", LOL.

They just built an Arby's in our neck of the woods here in KY.
My husband calls then Arby burgers.
I got him a sandwich this summer for lunch at the drive thru, and all I could think of was Arby burger, so that's what I said.
The gal on the inside was not too amused;"We don't have BURGERS Mame, what would you like to order?!" she said. grouch!
SO, thanks for the coupon. I will go get an Arby ROAST BURGER tomorrow. :)

Can't hear anything thanks to, well, my stubborn refusal to change what I already have which is dial-up internet and no speakers/sound.

Signed,
The Idiot

p.s. The next county over there's an ARby's but I have never been to it.

The Same Idiot

sigh.

CBW, Now I feel terrible posting stuff with sound. It's like inviting a deaf person to a concert. I'm sorry, but having dial-up shouldn't prevent you from having sound. if you have a head set or ear pod things, you should be able to plug into your pc.

Let me know what the headset or speaker jack connector thing looks like on your pc. I have some extra headset things that the airlines sell for $2. I always have mine packed away.

Arby's roast beef is good. I love the medium which is huge.

I like my Arby's roast beef the same way you do! Unfortunately there isn't an Arby's nearby...just in So Cal where I grew up...and Arby's was a treat we rarely got.

Now, that has to be the FART machine...I have one..it's awesome...we used it in an elevator in S.F. and had a blast...I got one for my friend and she and I have some good tales...but never at a city council meeting! I am going to one next Thursday night...perhaps I should bring it?! Not....then they would probably keep that lane change that has caused havoc!

"catsup"
You don't see it spelled that way very often anymore.

I think my grandma really liked Arby's sandwiches, but I never really got into them. We have an Arby's here, but what I really miss is Whataburger.
