When It Rains: Parts I & II
Grandma J loves nothing more that a nice strong rain, falling from the heavens to quench the thirst of Mother Nature's green acres. Yeah, I made that up....
Remember how happy Grandma J was when Mother Nature blessed this sweet little blooming weed, rescuing it from a tragic painful shriveled up death? Of course, flooding the whole friggin' swamp, previously referred to as The Spa, was part of the whole package. And, we survived!
Just as Grandma J was singing the praises of all things holy and good, Mother Nature decided to unload her whole kit and caboodle on the whole friggin' swamp.....
Isn't this special?? The water was flush with Grandma J's patio. Did Grandma J ever tell you her patio was only six feet deep?

Holy cow! And we're having 100+ weather up here and no one has AC . . .
Unbelievable.
Well, in better news, I purchased a replacement crab for you from the Gwynn's Island market today. I won't be able to send it out until my day off later this week, but Mr. Crab can't wait to meet you. (He's a bit scared of JJ after what happened to his brother.)
Oh. My. Good. Heaves. I am glad you are still alive and thriving despite the flood. And I am very glad for Huey : )
WOW. that Texas weather is something!!! I sure hope the water did not invade your kitchen and you were able to borrow some haagen daz from the ol' neighbor. ;)
Is Huey staying with you???

Who would have thought you'd have all that rain while Seattle simmered at 100 degrees!
