Let Me Name The Reasons

Jumping back onto the Blog Wagon without a full and justifiable explanation would be disrespectful and unforgivable.  There's a plethora of reasons for Grandma J being MIA for so long, but just how many are you willing to believe?  While honesty isn't her greatest virtue, Grandma J has on many occasions accidentally told the truth.

Let's have a  contest.   A welcome back to the blogger fold on a probationary status, sponsored by Grandma J of course, with a coveted prize at the end.  Here's how it will work; she will  list things she has done, or places she has gone, or people she has ticked off met in the last nine months.   You,  will try to determine which of the facts is not true.   Sound like fun?   Let's go!

1. Grandma J took some decorate your pet classes with JJ.

2.  She drove across the Mississippi River six times!

3.  She dusted off her old ukulele and attempted to pick up where she left off fifty years ago.

4. Grandma J re-entered the work force....for one day.

5. Surviving torrential rains left her with a flooded apartment, with floors totally ruined.

6.  She drove to So CA to escape the water.....

7.   Her CA host family had a slab leak that sent Grandma J to a hotel with three kids and two adults for the duration of her visit.  So much for escaping all the water!

So there you have a sampling of what coulda been historical moments in the life of Grandma J.   Pick the one you think is NOT TRUE for a chance to win!   Unlike some bloggers contests, you can enter this one more than once.  The winner will be announced Friday.

Well, I'm going to guess the ukelele one. There seems to be a lot of photographic evidence to back up the escaping the water stories. :)

Hope you have a happy Sunday, Grandma J!

I flipping LOVE the pictures of the kids on the bed! And you and JJ driving in the car. LOVE that!

I really missed you. I think I am going to type that every day for at least a month. We will see : )

THE UKULELE! I just blurted that out because why would anyone EVER give up the ukulele? And not pick it up for 50 years? Impossible! Surely you just made that up! ;-)

#1 and #3 and hopefully #5 and if you really did drive across that bridge in MS 6 times i should come and kick your hiney. That bridge is about 45 minutes away from my house!!! Just saying. And yeah I did miss you. And yah I'm glad your back. I missed your humor and your sas. If you had all that flooding that was the pits. So did you hurt your back?

Soooo glad to see you back!! I stopped by now and then to see if you returned, only to find concerned friends and spammers leaving you comments. You have been missed.
I say the ukelele isn't true--you would never want to hurt JJ's ears with that sound!

Decorate your pet? Oh come on, really? I mean, if there's anyone who would attend such a class, it's certainly Grandma J, but IS there such a class? Hmmm, I think not.

I'm hoping that you didn't decorate JJ! Those crazy kids - Pooper, Beauty, and Little One are getting so big. That is who else needs to get back to blogging!

As a chihuahua parent, I think they don't tolerate too much decor'. Thus, I pick the first one.

I'm thinkin' it's #4 cause I'm the only one I know who misses working and that's only when I drink! I think I remember JJ with his hair colored so I know you can indulge at times no matter how humiliating. I'd like to think #3 is true cause I can picture it and I need the laugh.
