A to Z Monday

How times flies! It's R week....and of course Rabbit would be a good R word don't you think? Grandma J thinks Rusty Rabbits are better....even though all Rabbits aren't Rusty.

I know, you're thinking to yourself, it's way too early for this play on word stuff. No matter, I found some very interesting Rusty Rabbits.

Come with me, and see what I mean.

Is this not the cutest Rusty Rabbit you ever did see? Yeah, it's not a real Rabbit, but it is Rusty.....

No Rusty, I wasn't talking about your favorite Rabbit! As Ryan Seacrest would say, Rusty, you and your Rabbit are safe!

Now here's an interesting Rusty Rabbit. Grandma J never owned a VW Rabbit, or any VW, or any Rabbit.

Now this is a real honest to goodness Rabbit.....getting a Rust bath. Or maybe not.

Here is a Rusty Rabbit trap. It doesn't look like it's used much, which means all the Rabbits are safe, and PETA can breathe easy.

Dear mother of all things rusty, tell me this Rusty Rabbit shouldn't be on the road. I would be leery of driving behind or next to it with those Rusty wheels.

Blow-dried Bunny

A man walked into his garden one day to find his dog with a piece of dirty fur in its mouth. Examination proved that the dirty piece of fur was actually a prize rabbit belonging to the neighbor. It was very dead, although no obvious injury could be seen.

The man was horrified and felt terrible. He took the rabbit inside, shampooed and blow dried it, then quickly snuck next door to put it back in the hutch before the neighbor got home.

A few days went by and he heard nothing. Then on the weekend he was talking over the fence to his neighbor, who he said that a strange thing had happened to him that week. When he came home from work one night he found his prize rabbit dead in its hutch.

"Oh, no," says the man. "How awful!"

"That's not the strange part," says the neighbor. "What's weird is that it had died earlier that morning and I buried it before going to work!"

Of course JJ has this all important question for the dead bunny...

THIS SATURDAY, SAY AWE...

I don't know if there's any shared DNA going on here. One thing I do know, you don't have to be an animal lover to feel the sweet harmony between these furry friends. Do you have a favorite? I do!
