YOU'VE GOT MAIL!
....good mail

That's what the mailman said to me yesterday, in front of a bunch of jealous residents here at The Compound.

First of all, I got something from Virginia. It's from one of my favorite
East Coast bloggers... Are you ready for this? Are you sitting down?

It's a Happy Fall card from my BBF, Cooper! Can you believe he has photo cards for FAll? Can you believe he sent one to Grandma J? Thank you Cooper! I love you.

Next, I received my winning tote from
The Fishn Mama's recent contest!

Check out her blog, it's one of my favorites. Thank you,
The Fishn Mama!

Last but not least...I received a box. A big box.

It's my CPAP contraption that the doctor ordered after my sleep study. I used it last night, and I don't know if it worked or not because I woke up at 5:30 from my cell phone alarm going off. This happens whenever I use it to wake up, it goes off everyday there after! I didn't go to bed until 2 a.m., so this was very inconvenient. I eventually got up at 8 a.m. with welts on my cheeks from the mask straps, and the thing that goes in my nostrils stretched them out to double their size.....or that's how it felt.
I'll try it again tonight.

So...what did your mailman bring you?

* don't forget to vote in my World Series poll!!

I got very bad news today Grandma J. My best friend who is currently in jail for doing something stupid, has to stay in there fore 6 more months. She has been in jail for 6 months already, so by the time I see her again it will have been a year. I feel torn between the fact that I know what she did was wrong, but I know she's having a hard time and I want to be able to help her out but I can't. It just goes to show that you can't live your life recklessly because you could end up where she is.

How great for you!!!
It is tuesday and that means I got a bunch of crap in the mail. Which is better than bills. I'm sure they will all come tomorrow.
The fall card is just darling and the sleeping contraption I know they are not pretty, but it will help you once you get used to it.
Fix that darn cell phone. ;)

I got 4 and half weeks worth of bills and a newborn baby photo and announcement from a good friend of mine.

I will join in the jealousy of the others in your compound.

I got my personal property taxes in the mail today, and based on the fact that blogging doesn't pay me one red cent, I'll be working more hours just to survive. Which means less time blogging. Which means tears.

BUT guess what? I can help you with that cell phone alarm quandry. You have to disable the alarm otherwise it will go off the same time every day for eternity. It should go something like this: Menu, Tools, Alarm Clock, then on the particular alarm you set (there may be more than one), you have to click on that and then hit Options I believe and there should be a field that says turn on/off.

I feel like Charlie Brown on Halloween:

"I got rocks."

Or junk mail and bills. Same difference.

Wow! It was like Xmas at your house. I only ever get piles and piles of junk mail and bills. I'd much rather have something that stretched my nostrils, that's for sure.

Amazingly, I got that same postcard! Did you like how he has his own address labels too. I thought that was cute. What a good mail day you had!

I'm hoping for some birthday cards this week so I'm checking the mail, but usually I check it every two or three weeks because there's never anything good.

I wasted a trip to the post office yesterday. All I got was a lousy credit card solicitation. Although, last week I received two party invitations in the same day! Jackpot!!
